EURA Technical Sales Director – AVEVA
In the years prior to joining Wonderware, Didier started his career developing software projects with System Integrators. He then turned to R&D on Artificial Intelligence applied in Process Control and decision support systems. He was involved in several large European research programs in process alarm analysis and diagnosis, Fieldbus standards definition, water treatment plant advanced SCADA systems and model-based emergency decision support systems.
His team was one of the early adopters of object programming for industrial applications in the early eighties. He then moved to industrial projects and spent approximately 10 years as project manager and project director in several Systems Integration companies including: Alcatel and Cegelec (Water / Wastewater management, building automation, and alarming systems in Facility Management Systems). In 1996 he joined Wonderware, where he occupied different positions in relation with either large projects and/or strategic customers.
He is now in charge of the EURSA (Europe, Russia and Africa) pre-sales team, which consists of 8 highly experienced experts for Schneider Electric Software on the HMI/SCADA, MES (CPG & Mining), Information Management and Asset Performance Management solutions, supporting large international deals in Europe, Russia and Africa.
His point of interests are system integration standards, alarm management, HMI and User eXperience, mobile solutions and last but not least augmented reality (AR).
